There was some question about whether we have changed our policy on kids at
Toast. Children are absolutely welcome as long as they are with their
parents or legal guardian.
We do have an over 21 policy for this event which requires that you be over
21 if you are not with your parents or legal guardian or spouse who is 21 or
older.
We are serious about this. If you are not 21 or over and don’t fit the above
criteria you will not be let in. If you have questions about this policy
contact grover@toast-town.org

Participate!
If you have activities or art that you want others to know about before the
event starts , drop us a note at
gary@toast-town.org and We will add it to the announcements. We know of a
lot of other things going on but if you don't give us permission, we wont
print it here.

Guidelines for Travel to Toast,
Travel directions are at
www.toast-town.org/toast/page.php
The directions are detailed and correct and will get you to Toast as long as
you follow them. You need to print these directions and bring them with you.
Plus as always buy a good road map. Some online maps of this area are not
very good. Be aware there are no signs on the highway to tell you where to
turn for Toast! However, It is not hard to find as long as you follow the
directions.
We recommend buying food in Flagstaff if you are coming in from the west on
I-40.
Grants, if you are coming in from New Mexico.
If you are coming in from US-60 and Globe the last large grocery store is
the Safeway in Show low. There is also a small one in St Johns, neither of
those are open late.
The last gas coming south from I-40 is in Sanders Arizona.
Coming from Tucson or Phoenix, the last gas is in St Johns.
From either of these points it will be 50 miles round trip before you can
get gas again.
You will also need water. There is no water for your personal use at this
event.
We really recommend that you do not spend a lot of time lingering in St
Johns. This town is an ultra conservative community. Burners are going to
stand out big time. Trust us on this, they are not used to odd looking
people with Purple hair. :-) We’ve never personally had problems in St
Johns, but it is known as a speed trap. Drive safely and obey the speed
limit!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The wonderful Elektra is looking for a ride to Toast from the San Francisco
area. We know this person, and we'd love to see her at Toast this year. She
is a lot of fun!
If you are able to help her out drop me a note gary@toast-town.org so we can
set you up.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pack it In Pack it out!
Leave No Trace at Toast.
It means just that. You are responsible for hauling away everything you
brought and disposing of it properly.
We do not provide Garbage service! This is a must, so make sure you plan
accordingly so you have room for your camp trash and debris.
